They are RGS Box Cars. Only these four made it to the layout to operate. Another one is a storage shed by the turntable. The last one I used the frame, bed and running rigging for the Spreader frame.
All of the San Juan kits, make use of the handmade brass hand holds and rungs. I use thick ACC cement to hold them in and the surplus glue forms a glob around the base of the handhold and looks like the mounting base.
