Diamond Scale Products is the company that made the basic turntable that I have here. I bought an HO scale 135’ turntable which comes out to about 70’ 0N30 scale for my layout. My engines fit this one very well. I had to do a lot of kit-bashing to make this work. I used the original pit wall and most of the metal castings. I made my own bridge from large timbers. The design of the bridge is my own and loosely follows prototype turntables. It sort of rolls on the roller wheels with the addition of wipers for the track voltage on the pit rail.
Beginning the Turntable construction.
The old and the new Turntable. The old small one is where the 4 Stall Engine house is now.
