MY RAILROAD’S TRASH

Trash is America’s middle name, if it had one.  No matter where you go, a view of trash is always forefront of the scene.  I modeled some of my Railroad’s trash so you can see it.  Trash comes in all sizes, shapes and colors.  Besides being the Railroad Baron of the MR&L Co. I am also the owner and operator of  “Wayne’s Trash Co.”. 

The trash truck is a converted & kitbashed model of the Revell  Honest John missle carrier.  It is the same truck used for the Log Haulers.

The dumpster is an Arttista metal model from which I made a mold of and made more Resin dumpsters. Some with lids open and then closed.

I designed a hoisting system for the truck to pick up the dumpster using Plastistruct poducts. A simple box on the bed for the winch.

When the dumpster gets full, like all good dumping people, the trash gets piled in front of the dumpster so the trash hauler driver has to move it out of the way to pick up the dumpster.  But the trash on the ground stays there for someone else to pick it up.  “Not my Job”.
