So named for Photographer Darius Kinsey, Jul 1869- May 1945, whom took many early day photographs of the North Western logging operations and the railroads that served them. As this is the beginning of my timber area I named it thus.
So far the town has just the depot, water tank, coal facility and an old not-in-use oil tank. There is a loading platform at the station. This is the terminus for the Minieton Logging main line. From here it goes to the logging area.
