This is a Sierra West Craftsman Kit. It is a very large model which came in 3 boxes. I bought it in 2011 and just now have had room to place it on the layout, 2024.

It was built next to the water stream which goes underground here which provided a good place to have the water pump and tower.
A Sawdust burner is installed. This is a Scratchbuilt of brass model.
The wood deck and part of the overhead was rotten and here workers are repairing it.
The crane here is used to transfer logs from the log cars to the log rack.
The mill is lit inside and out with LED and 16vlt bulbs.
