The Driver rig did operate but was too fragile to let stay that  way. I made it stationary in the traveling position.

This kit was a real nightmare.  It is a San Juan kit which is no longer in production. The instructions may have been thrown out the window for all the help they were.  I had to watch a video of the real Pile driver to see where to put some parts and rigging.  But all worked out.

I had a flat car made already as the one that came with it was not good. Lots of loaded tools for you to see.  I put wood beds on almost all the flat cars I build, they look better than the thin plastic.
