The Ore bin I originally bought with the mine shaft was a laser cut model which was out of scale, to me. I used it though to make a pattern and put together my own bin.

I was at first going to put some ore car track and a car coming out of the building.  It looked ridiculous.  I came up with  the the conveyor belt idea and built it one evening, well two.  It looks much better.  I now have a power unit on the back of the mine shaft to belt power the conveyor belt.
