A coal tower modeled after the Chama Yard C&TSRR coal tower. I modified it so that the dump cars go under the tower. Because of pre-existing track layout, I moved the house for the machinery to the rear. This project is totally scratch built. No bought kit. No detailed plans, just pictures. I made 98% of all the items myself. (pat me on the back will ye’). I had taken many good pictures of the prototype during my several trips to the real Chama Yard and looked carefully at them. I copied what I thought the mechanisms actually looked like for the chute. This is the 2nd most extensive model project I have done. The roundhouse was 1st.
