	On the Layout


	The placement of the mine shaft is on a lift out section.


	New additions to the Mine area are shown above. The cut here has been remodeled. This shows the new strata of the earth modeled to match the rest of the canyon. New buildings for the Miners to live and eat at.


	I was asked by a visitor to the Elson Mine, what am I mining? This is a mine in which you get whatever you need at the time. I have put out the talus and tailings from several different ores and mineral. Take your pick. We aim to please. If we don’t have it you don’t need it.


	A water tank for the upper main line is now in operation.




		Lighting on the mine, I use 12 volt grain of wheat bulbs in light fixtures of my own make.

	A bunk house, mess hall and an OOS caboose for the office. New lighting for night time.


	A water tank for the lower mine railroad track. It gets the water from the water tank on the hill via an under ground pipe.

					This area has been weakened by the continual passing of the train. The rocks are falling at an alarming rate undermining the roadbed on the top.
